Pet Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice that aims to restore the body’s energy balance to promote healing. It involves inserting fine needles into specific points (acupuncture points) where blood vessels and nerves intersect in an animal’s body. Inserting the needles in these specific points can result in reduced inflammation, improved blood circulation, activating or calming the nervous system, and enhancing the body’s healing process. Acupuncture is commonly used alongside conventional veterinary medical treatments in an integrative approach to address health issues. It can be particularly helpful in pets with musculoskeletal or neurological problems such as arthritis and intervertebral disc disease.
